NANSEN AS AUDIO BOOK ON THE WEB

Now, Fridtjof Nansen's great book from the first Fram expedition 1893-1896 has become an audio book.

As far as the Fram Museum knows, this is the first time a piece of Nansen’s literature has become an audio book.

The book was first published in 1897 in two volumes and was called Fram over Polhavet. It was published in English the same year and given the title Farthest North.

It is English professor Sharon Riskedahl from the USA that has read the whole book. It took her a two years period of time. Find it on www.librivox.org.
