Scott’s and Apsley Cherry-Gerrard’s well-written accounts of the expedition are still being printed in new editions in many countries.

The Southern Party, the Northern Party and “The Worst Journey in the World”, as well as Herbert Ponting’s iconic photographs are all included. In addition, it includes an article by Beau Riffenburgh on the topic of Science vs. the Pole on the Terra Nova Expedition. Second-in-command Edward Evans’ own lecture on the expedition from the Royal Geographical Society in 1913 is also included.
