Description
The Fram Museum is proud to present the N-25 Dornier Do J Wal building set from Cobi!
The Dornier Do J Wal is a German aircraft designed by Dornier, which gained fame during polar expeditions in the 1920s.
The N-25 model, named after the famous Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, was a unique seaplane designed to fly in extreme Arctic conditions. Equipped with two engines, the Dornier Do J Wal was characterized by extraordinary durability and the ability to operate from water landings, making it an ideal aircraft for research in polar regions where traditional airports were not available.
The kit was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Roald Amundsen’s historic expedition to the North Pole and allows you to build from building blocks the aircraft that played a key role in this groundbreaking expedition in 1925.
The set includes a figure of the pilot/explorer Roald Amundsen.
