The Fram Museum has printed 100 copies of Roald Amundsen´s personal hand coloured lantern slide “South Pole 1911” used by Amundsen during his lecture tour after the South Pole expedition. Included with the photo is an original note personally signed by Oscar Wisting in 1936 and a certificate guaranteeing that the Fram Museum will not print further copies of this limited edition. The South Pole Limited Edition is professionally framed in a silver coloured wooden frame.

Oscar Wisting was part of the Norwegian team reaching the South Pole on 14 December 1911.
Wisting signed a limited number of these certificates as part of the original fundraising for the restoration of Fram and the Museum itself back in 1930 and 1936.
If interested, buyers will have their names engraved on a plaque in the new building.
