What is RAML?
The Fram Museum organizes the Roald Amundsen Memorial Lectures every year to commemorate Roald Amundsen and his men reaching the South Pole on the 14th of December 1911.
The lectures are held at the museum in late November. Typically, a new temporary exhibition opens, new books are launched, and talks are given by prominent international speakers. This is followed by a reconstructed historical dinner, featuring the same dishes, music, and speeches.
