When preparing for Cold Recall - Reflections of a Polar Explorer at the Fram Museum, our main objective was to show visitors images from the lantern slides that Amundsen used in public lectures about his expeditions through the Northwest Passage and to the South Pole.

The texts in the exhibition are primarily abridged versions of Amundsen’s own manuscripts from these lectures.
