Fram Museum Oslo

A dinner to remember

Here is a quick look at the menu from this past weekends Amundsen Memorial Lecture. The dinner was a recreation of a dinner from 1896, held in honor of Fridtjof Nansen’s return from the Fram expedition. The same music was performed, the same speeches (recreated extremely well by various volunteers from the audience) and the same courses and similar wines were served.

Have a look and remember that it is possible to book a place for the 2022 Amundsen Memorial Lectures! (The historical menu for 2022 has not yet been chosen and may differ from this one).
