Opening night May 7th 2018 for our many new attractions was a great success

The Fram Museum has now opened a wave (pun intended) of new attractions, including a huge ocean simulation projection surrounding the ship, large igloo in the children’s area, all new recreated crewmember cabins with personal effects. There are sounds and smells and games all over the ship and the rest of the museum!
The opening night was rather spectacular with ten different food stalls where the guests could enjoy a wide range of polar tastes.
Speeches were held by the museum’s chairman Olav Orheim, director Geir O. Kløver and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide.
The new attractions are now open to the public. They are a permanent addition to the museum and can be experienced 365 days a year. They do not require any extra tickets or bookings.
